• Recruiting participants for study on the impact of dietary patterns on heart disease risk, in which a Mediterranean diet with added full-fat dairy is studied to assess the effect of saturated fat in the context of a heart-healthy diet

• Conducting literature searches to assist with obtaining research grants for future study on the effect of the Mediterranean diet compared to a typical American diet, both in the presence and absence of statins, on inflammatory and lipoprotein biomarkers of CVD risk

• Assisting with creating documents for future study, such as study flow chart for clinical protocol synopsis and study organization flow chart for study organization plan

• Developing education materials and assisting with Family Heart & Nutrition Center community outreach presentations on cardiometabolic risk reduction

• Logging, organizing, and taking inventory of infant formula stock and assessing ordering needs

• Utilizing ESHA Food Processor Nutrition Analysis Software to calculate patient calorie counts

• Assisting with updating therapeutic diet manual for clinical nutrition and foodservice departments

• Aiding dietitians with projects such as compiling nutrition information of allowed foods in restricted diets

• Updating supplemental nutrition information for multivitamin recommendation lists

• Tabulating data related to nutrition screenings and RD patient assessments

• Shadowing clinical dietitians providing medical nutrition therapy in outpatient clinic

• Contributing to writing nutrition articles on science behind food trends and sugar-sweetened beverages for hospital publication "Handprints"

• Tabulating data related to patient satisfaction, tray delivery logs, late trays, RD productivity, pantry audits and par levels, supplemental nourishments, and hospital menus

• Drafting monographs for hospital formulary review for intravenous lipid emulsions for use in parenteral nutrition

• Developing departmental educational materials and I-CARE policy framework using evidence-based literature

• Evaluating host delivery of patient meal trays in adherence to I-CARE hospital guidelines
